Our vision!

PMUI envisions that the people living in poverty will have a developed community with equal respect to people’s right, interest and welfare through a holistic approach by ensuring to promote physical, economic, social, cultural and spiritual prosperity, thus promoting peace and social security.

"PMUI partners with communities, government and other stakeholders who have the desire to build resilient communities. Our successes rely on supporting each other to achieve our common goals. Our triumph is dedicated to children, young people, men and women who had been deprived of basic rights that they suppose to have.

The right to education, access to food and shelter, safe and portable water, access to good health and well-being, environmental preservation that the future generation can enjoy. We will ensure that the indigenous people and people living in poverty can get access to decent jobs where PMUI can be a place of learning and training to give them equal opportunities to find jobs where it can fit them. PMUI ensures that no one is discriminated wherein women and men have equal chances while mainstreaming them in society. The sustainable livelihood program is what we are aiming for. This will not happen overnight but we will lay the foundation where the next generation can continue."

Media Program

This is a development tool for community transformation by letting the voice of the people be heard by the society. This is also a form of educating the indigenous people to the complex issues that cannot be tackled by mere lectures. The use of traditional cultures like ambahan (Poems), songs, drama or role play can contribute to paradigm shifts.
